Terms of service
Last updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of lejandrier.com and purchases made from LeJandrier Fine Art Studio.
The website is operated by Alejandro López Larroya, trading as LeJandrier Fine Art Studio. Full identification and contact information is available in our Legal Notice.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with the policies referenced below.
1. Use of the website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not damage, interfere with or compromise its operation or the rights of LeJandrier Fine Art Studio or third parties.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas, introduce malicious code, misuse website content or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
2. Artworks, editions and product information
LeJandrier artworks are offered as physical limited-edition Fine Art prints. Product pages describe the relevant edition size, dimensions, paper, presentation, framing options and certification.
Availability is subject to the remaining quantity within each edition. Adding an artwork to your cart does not reserve a print until the order has been successfully completed.
Once the stated quantity of a limited edition has been released, no additional prints are added to that edition.
We take reasonable care to represent artworks accurately online. However, colours and tonal appearance may vary slightly depending on screen settings and the differences between illuminated displays and physical Fine Art printing.
Any such reasonable visual variation does not affect the statutory rights applicable where a product is defective or does not conform to its description.
3. Ownership and copyright of artworks
Purchasing a LeJandrier Fine Art print gives you ownership of the physical print purchased.
Copyright and all other intellectual-property rights in the underlying artwork remain with the artist unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
Purchasing a print does not grant the right to reproduce, copy, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from the artwork.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are those displayed on the website at the time the order is placed.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges and any other costs payable through LeJandrier will be shown before the order is completed.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods made available at checkout.
We may change product prices for future purchases at any time. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
5. Orders and availability
When you place an order, you are making a purchase that carries an obligation to pay. You will receive electronic confirmation of your order after it has been submitted.
Spanish e-commerce law requires receipt of an electronic acceptance to be confirmed electronically, generally within 24 hours or through an equivalent immediately archivable confirmation process.
Orders remain subject to successful payment and product availability.
If we are unable to fulfil an order because an edition is unavailable, or because of a clear technical or pricing error affecting the transaction, we will contact you as soon as possible and refund any amount already paid for the affected item.
We may take reasonable measures to prevent fraud or unauthorized transactions.
6. Shipping and delivery
LeJandrier Fine Art prints are made to order.
Shipping destinations, rates, free-shipping conditions, estimated production and delivery times, tracking information and customs rules are described in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
For consumer orders, mandatory rights concerning delivery and risk during transport remain unaffected. Under EU rules, where the trader arranges transport, responsibility for the goods generally remains with the trader until the consumer receives them.
7. Returns, cancellations and refunds
LeJandrier offers a 14-day return period worldwide, including change-of-mind returns, subject to the conditions described in our Refund Policy.
The Refund Policy also explains:
- Requests made before delivery.
- Change-of-mind returns.
- Damaged, defective or incorrect items.
- Orders lost in transit.
- Refund processing.
Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
8. Product conformity
Products supplied must conform to the description and conditions agreed at the time of purchase.
Mandatory legal guarantees and remedies for defective or non-conforming goods remain fully applicable. In Spain, the statutory liability period for lack of conformity in new goods is currently three years from delivery.
9. Customer information and accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when placing an order, including billing, delivery and contact information.
If you use a customer account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access and notifying us if you believe it has been used without authorization.
10. Intellectual property and website content
Unless otherwise stated, artworks, images, texts, branding, logos, graphics and other original content available through this website are owned by LeJandrier Fine Art Studio or used with authorization.
They may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, communicated publicly or commercially exploited without prior authorization, except where permitted by law.
11. Third-party services and links
The website uses third-party services necessary to operate the online store, including Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment services and delivery providers.
It may also contain links to third-party websites. LeJandrier Fine Art Studio does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their independent content, availability or practices.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s own terms and policies.
12. Personal data
Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy and according to applicable data-protection legislation.
13. Website availability and liability
We take reasonable measures to maintain the accuracy, security and availability of the website, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot always be guaranteed.
To the extent permitted by law, LeJandrier Fine Art Studio is not responsible for interruptions, technical problems or third-party services outside its reasonable control, or for loss resulting from unlawful or improper use of the website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, statutory guarantees or consumer rights where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the website, our services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.
The version applicable to a purchase is the version in force when the order is placed. Changes made later do not retrospectively alter the terms of an already concluded purchase.
The current version will always be available on this page together with its latest revision date.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by applicable Spanish and European Union law.
Where you act as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory protections or jurisdictional rights available to you under applicable law.
For disputes involving consumers, the competent courts will be determined in accordance with the mandatory rules applicable to the consumer’s place of residence.
